There are believers among the Pashtun peoples. In a land of darkness, God is calling Pashtuns to Himself. Professions of faith, baptisms, and church are being done among and by the Pashtuns. However, there is also persecution. When a Pashtun decides to become a believer, they don’t just give up their old religion, they give up their entire way of life, usually their family and sometimes even their lives. They count the costs and know that Jesus is worth it.
Pray God will protect and encourage these Pashtun believers.
Pray for boldness as they share their faith with their family in hopes to spread the Good News and grow the Kingdom of God.
“Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching.” 2 Tim 4:2
